Foyle Search and Rescue Service’s Annual Bucket Appeal will take place from Monday 2nd May 2016 to Sunday 15th May 2016, throughout different areas within the City. During the appeal, Foyle Search and Rescue Volunteers will be knocking on doors between 6.00pm and 9.00pm each night.
All authorised collectors will carry Foyle Search and Rescue identification Card. Only collectors with a valid ID are authorised to collect on behalf of Foyle Search and Rescue. All ID badges will have photo of the volunteer and will be signed by our Chairman Stephen Twells.
Should you feel that you have any questions reference the collection, please call the office on 02871 313800 Monday – Thursday 9.00 am – 5.30pm Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm outside office hours on 07543006561 who will be able to confirm if a collection is taking place and in which area.
These funds are invaluable in helping us run the Charity and continue our lifesaving work. The money goes towards fuelling and maintaining our boats and rescue vehicles, purchasing vital equipment for our Volunteers, training our teams and sustaining our Base.
Last years appeal was a great success and we are hoping to build on that this year. In the past we have had wonderful support from people in the city and we hope that support will be continued into the future.
If anyone would like to give up some of their spare time to help with the collections they can do so by contacting Foyle Search and Rescue on the number above. All help would be greatly appreciated.
